Isabella Brilliant Eyes New Adventures with Army
Share:

Isabella Brilliant’s sense of adventure and appreciation for the country was born in the back of an RV.

Brilliant moved to Idaho when she was 7, and her parents decided to homeschool Brilliant and her brother so they could travel across the United States for two years. They learned about the history of each state and visited nearly 400 national parks.

“I met so many people from so many different backgrounds. It was really interesting to hear about their lives, whether old or young, and their struggles,” Brilliant said. “It makes you a little more grateful for what you have and just more worldly.”

The seeds of service were planted early in Brilliant, and they will blossom in college. The four-star senior from Meridian, Idaho has committed to play for Army.

“I really want to give back to my country because it’s provided me with so many opportunities I don’t think I would get in many other countries, especially being female,” Brilliant said. “So I thought, ‘Wow. I can go and get a great education and come out really disciplined and serve my country.’ I just think it was a really great thing and I am really excited to do that.”
