July's notable performances began on the grass courts of Wimbledon and ended on the hard courts in the heart of the United States, with current and former college players making up more than half of the month's aces. The eight USTA Clay Court champions deserve hearty congratulations as well, but are not featured here due to the extensive coverage of the National Clay Courts last week on this site.
