Logan Hansen recalled a match seven months ago when she competed against Lakewood's Stacey Tan in the round of 16 of the CIF Southern Section individual tournament. Hansen, a 16-year-old junior at Brentwood School, was forced to wear a soft cast on her left wrist and forearm, limiting not only her flexibility but her variety on the court as well. Although Hansen battled valiantly for nearly three hours against the younger Tan, she fell in three sets, ending her shot at winning a high school sectional championship.
