Spring Signing Week '08: Sianna Simmons Decides

Signing Day continues with an announcement from 5-Star senior Sianna Simmons (Atlanta, GA).
Simmons is one of the top recruits in the country, and her tournament record shows it. Victorious in twelve matches against 5-Star and Blue Chip opponents over the past year, Simmons spent last season competing at the USTA Claycourts and Hardcourts before taking her game to the ITF circuit in the fall.
Simmons' performance earned her looks from a variety of college programs. She spoke with coaches from Arizona State, Florida State, Illinois, LSU, Mississippi, Missouri, Penn State, and Syracuse.
In the end, Simmons selected the Sun Devils of Arizona State - a decision for which her parents, Steven and Wynnetta, could not be happier.
"We are very proud of Sianna - not only as a tennis player, but also as a young woman. And we are very excited about her choice.
