===========================
- Ranked #4 USTA Northern California Section Boys 18 singles (June - July 2009) Grand Prix

I have been playing tennis since I was 10, and have played in over 160 USTA tournaments. I am 5'11' 160lbs and am in the best shape of my life. I feel I am finally starting to tap into my tennis potential. Also, I have grown four inches in the past year. My new coach, Joseph Gilbert, has done wonders for my tennis game. In less than 7 months my USTA Norcal ranking soared from #159 to #44, and is currently at #38. I was ranked #4 in Norcal B18's grand prix circuit which is a series of tournaments for the three summer months of June/July/August in 2009. My national ranking and tennis RPI on tennis recruiting have made great strides from the 2009 season into the 2010 season. I have recently graduated, but have opted not enroll into college until the Spring of 2011 or Fall of 2011. In the time being, I am training five days a week, and playing tournaments on the weekends on a consistent basis.

I always work hard in practice looking to improve something each day. Playing five to six sets a day is no problem. I look forward to challenging the best! I feel that with my game style, I can compete with anyone. I not only have defeated players I use to struggle against, but I am challenging and defeating higher ranked players, and feel that I am becoming a top tier player. I can bring leadership, hard work, and dedication on the court, and in the classroom to a team that will give me the opportunity. Academically, I've always given my full effort. I maintained a 4.0 gpa throughout my freshman and sophomore year while at the same time taking honors courses. I challenged myself in my junior and senior year by taking AP courses. I graduated high school with a cumulative 3.74 gpa. I also passed the AP U.S. History college exam in my Junior year with a score of three. I am looking forward to college and college tennis and am excited for any opportunities that I get!
