Post Season Highlights
SCAD Atlanta finished their 1st season competing in the NAIA in 2011. NAIA bylaws prevent 1st year programs from competing in the post-season.
Individual Achievements
Jack Anton was ranked among the top 50 singles players in the nation for the NAIA during his freshman campaign. Anton and Joseph Dwyer were also ranked among the top 25 doubles teams in the NAIA after their appearance in the semifinals of the NAIA South Regional.
Coaching Achievements
Brad Iftner, the AD and Head Coach, was selected as the South Regional Chair for the singles/doubles rankings committee for NAIA men's tennis. He was formerly an assistant coach at Purdue and a head coach at Southern Illinois. Daniel Plasa was honored as the Assistant Women's Coach of the Year for the South Region of the NAIA for the 2011 season as the ladies were undefeated in NAIA matches and compiled a 10-3 overall record. Plasa earned his graduate degree in Graphic Design from SCAD Atlanta in March 2011 while assisting with both tennis programs.
