Rahul Sachdev remembers all the late nights he spent with his older brother, Rohan, at the public courts practicing. It could have been freezing cold with nobody else around, and they would still be out there hitting.

They had big dreams in mind and wanted to push each other to help achieve them.
Rohan now plays at Georgia Tech, where the sophomore is studying biomedical engineering. Rahul will soon be joining him at the NCAA Division I level. The five-star senior from Cary, North Carolina has signed to play at the University of Texas.
“Texas is an incredible tennis program and I just loved everything about when I made my visit there,” Rahul said. “The team work ethic and how competitive they were and the energy they brought every day was very impressive. I really feel like I can accomplish my goals there, both academically and with tennis.”
Rahul considered the idea of playing at Georgia Tech with his brother, but wanted to chart his own course.
“It’s a great program and he really loves it there. They have a really super nice group of guys,” he said. “But in the end, I just felt like Texas was the best fit for me and I felt like everything they bring gives me the best opportunity to become the best tennis player I can be.”
