In March, the Countdown to Signing Day takes over most of the content at Tennis Recruiting Network. But there is always room for the Hot 100. Will Cubitt (Spartanburg, South Carolina)  Freshman Will Cubitt Four-star freshman Will Cubitt grew up in a family that encouraged athleticism. As a kid, he played basketball, soccer, baseball and golf in addition to tennis. “My parents always wanted my sister and I to be well-rounded and play different sports,” Cubitt said. “Although I enjoy all those sports, my heart is with tennis.” Cubitt has worked with the same coach since he started playing tennis - Cornelius Jordan of the Spartanburg Country Club. Recently, the two have been working on Cubitt’s net play and overheads. The Spartanburg, South Carolina native names his backhand as one of his strengths. “I am also good at adapting my game depending on how I am playing and how my opponent is playing,” he said.
