Mascoutah High School, IL, 11th, 12th grades

BIO:
My family is active duty military and we have been stationed in many states and overseas. I recently completed my junior year at Mascoutah High School in Illinois and anticipate graduation in 2013. I lived in Stuttgart, Germany from August 2007 until June 2011 and attended Patch American High School, my freshman and sophomore years. I began serious tennis training in Stuttgart, Germany at the Tennis King Academy with the director, David King. I participated in German Club Tennis. I played varsity high school team tennis my freshman, sophomore years in Germany, and junior year in Illinois. My first year back in the States, I played #1 singles at Mascoutah High School and qualified for the Illinois State Tennis Tournament in May 2012. This was my first year competing in USTA tournaments, participating in competitive Missouri Valley-St. Louis District Open, Challenger, and Endorser tournaments. Overall record: 20-9. I was the St. Louis District Tennis Association Challenger III Tournament Boys-16 Champion, Feb. 2012. I am an honor roll student and my senior year courses will include AP Chemistry, AP Calculus, AFJROTC-II, Intro to Law, and Finance. I am currently researching military academies and colleges that offer programs in pre-law, finance, management, or pre-med. I am passionate about playing tennis and aspire to compete at the collegiate level, so I am also considering where I can contribute to the tennis program success.

ACADEMY
King Tennis Academy, Stuttgart, Germany 2009-2011
Kornwestheim - German Club Tennis 2009-2011, German club tennis is year round training with the competitive season from May through July (summer) and November through March (winter). The outdoor surface is clay and the indoor surface is carpet. German club tennis is very competitive and selective. The German trainers concentrate on technical proficiency, fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Only select few American high school students in the greater Stuttgart area are invited to participate on a German club team. To have the opportunity to play internationally was a tremendous experience.
