ACADEMY
I started getting coached at Five Star Tennis Center in 2016. I learned a lot from this club and its coaches, and after starting private lessons, saw good improvement. I learned patterns and strategies that I employed in my matches, and consequently, I won more matches. However, I felt my growth start to slow after about 6 1/2 years. I looked for a different coach but it was to no avail. So I started looking for a different club and after multiple recommendations and some research, I tried a group lesson at Hinsdale Racquet Club. It was structured very well, with time for conditioning, matchplay, and drills. These elements of the practice helped me raise my game greatly, and in just a year of practicing at HRC I have felt a great improvement in my placement, power, control, and overall confidence in my game. Recently I have begun to beat some 9 UTR's and have been structuring points well, making sure that every shot has a purpose.
