National and Sectional Rankings:
Had a five-hour L4-disc reconstruction surgery on April 25th 2008; then underwent two follow-up surgeries in May 2008 (due to MRSA contracted following the initial surgery) and in August 2008 (to get more bone graft inserted since MRSA interrupted the initial bone graft process). In the late April 2009, finally got cleared by doctors, and returned to tennis. Played Souther Open upon return.
