Grace Keller answered as many recruiting emails from college coaches as she could. She wanted to have a wide variety of options to explore before she made her decision.
The correspondence from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville head coach Adam Albertsen began to stand out above the rest.

“He was really persistent. He made sure to regularly reach out to make sure I was still interested and I really appreciated that,” Keller said. “There was just good communication and it made me feel like he really wanted me.”
After taking her official visit to the SIUE campus, the four-star senior from Marietta, Georgia committed to the Cougars.
“I really liked the team and I really liked the campus and they had the (academic) programs I wanted,” said Keller, who hopes to become a nurse. “The team was so welcoming and nice and they all had their own personalities. They didn’t fake anything and were really open and honest with any questions I had. I just really loved it there.”
