2Mynds Brings Mental Fitness Training to Tennis
Share:

Given how often she would hear people say tennis “was such a mental game,” Stefanie Allen always wondered why there weren’t more ways to improve her mental skills beyond just speaking with a sports psychologist or visualization.

Allen knows she could have benefited from more training of her mind during her junior career and while playing at the Naval Academy.

That is why she felt so drawn to the mission of 2Mynds, Inc. The mental fitness training company targets mental health through mental fitness methodology that has roots in exercise physiology. The company, which was founded in 2022 by CEO Leon Bax, says it helps “train your mind like you train your body.”

The core product features progressing workouts under pressure in a gamified online platform that provides reps and tries to keep users accountable.

“You learn to be mentally tough, but sometimes it’s not just about being mentally tough,” said Allen, the head of growth at 2Mynds. “Can you learn to relax when you are tense? Can you learn to realize when you are feeling tense or when you are feeling stressed in a match?”
