Carson Lee didn’t have a master plan to play college tennis. His path came much more organically.

The Fullerton, California native always focused on having fun and being competitive whenever he was on the court. He wanted to win of course, but he didn’t obsess over where his tournament results would lead him in life.

But during the Covid-19 pandemic, Lee reached a bit of a crossroads in his athletic future. He couldn’t find many hitting partners during the lockdown and most of the facilities where he trained were closed.

“I really had to consider if this was something I really wanted to continue pursuing or maybe looking at something else instead of doing tennis,” Lee said. “But I really wanted to stick with it and was able to improve enough to put myself on the table for college and pursue a higher education as well.”
