Angela Huang (WTN: 14.5) wanted to be just like her sister.
After the family moved from New York to China, Ashley Huang started playing tennis because there was a court at the house. Angela would watch her hitting balls and wondered what it would be like to play.

Once the family returned to the United States, Ashley began taking lessons and participating in tournaments. Angela was often in attendance and loved seeing her sister fight and compete.
It inspired her to begin playing tennis at age 8.
“My sister went through the whole process before I started and she paved the path before me and gave me a lot of good advice,” Angela Huang said. “She would cheer for me and sacrificed her time to practice with me even when I was a lot younger and worse than her. I really appreciate her for that.”
Angela continues to follow in her sister’s footsteps. The blue chip senior from Wexford, Pennsylvania will be attending an Ivy League institution just like Ashley (Cornell). Angela has committed to Yale.
