USTA National Clay Courts Has Strong Field, Wild Card

Tyler Hochwalt knows he has a rough road ahead of him at the USTA National Clay Court Championships. But the road leads to a destination he's been before.

A year after winning the 16s, Hochwalt has moved up to the 18s where the winner gets the gold ball and a wild-card entry into the main draw of an ATP tournament.

His singles title a year ago - he also won the doubles - earned him a wild card into the qualifying at the Legg Mason Tennis Classic in Washington, D.C.
