U.S. Boys Dominate Junior Doubles in New York
by
Colette Lewis, 14 September 2006
As Jamie Hunt and Nathaniel Schnugg packed away their crystal championship chalices in the distinctive Tiffany blue box of the exclusive New York retailer Sunday evening, they were participating in what is becoming a tradition for U.S. boys.
For the third straight year, a team from the United States won the junior boys doubles, and in 2006, that was assured even before the final was played. Hunt and Schnugg defeated the young team of Jarmere Jenkins and Austin Krajicek 6-3, 6-3, in the first ever all-American boys doubles final.
