With the USTA National Junior Championships at its beginning and the U.S. Open at its end, August is arguably the most significant month on the calendar in the United States. Due to the extensive Tennis Recruiting Network coverage of the Nationals, those eight champions are not included below, but another round of applause is in order for Jenson Brooksby, Whitney Osuigwe, Martin Damm, Fiona Crawley, Juncheng Shang, Eleana Yu, Rudy Quan and Natalia Perez. Now let’s look at 14 other juniors, collegians and former collegians who excelled last month.
