Spotlight Players of the Week: Kirstin Hailey and Daniel Haley

SPOTLIGHT ON Kirstin Hailey (Clinton, Massachusetts)

Music on your playlist: I listen to a bunch of genres. I like to listen to pop and rap before matches, but I also have country on my playlist because I really like country.

Dream vacation destination: I have always wanted to go to Hawaii. It looks warm and very beautiful.

Favorite food: Taco salad, because you can make it how you want it and basically add whatever you want in it.

Favorite athletes: Naomi Oaska and Petra Kvitova. Osaka seems like a very humble and nice person but also works really hard. Kvitova is a lefty and I am also lefty and she also has a really, really, really huge forehand.

Future occupation: I have been taking a lot of computer animated design classes and I am leaning towards civil engineering or working in urban planning. I have always been interested in architecture and landscape design and I think civil engineering would combine all those things perfectly.

If you could have dinner with anyone dead or alive, who would it be: Roger Federer, because he just seems like a very knowledgeable person and I also feel like he would be super nice to talk to. I feel like we would have a lot to talk about and I would definitely want to meet him and have a nice conversation with him.

Must-watch TV show: The Voice and All American

Favorite movie: Marley & Me

If I am not playing tennis, I am … hanging out with friends and family, doing schoolwork or playing basketball outside with my twin brother.
