Vihaan Reddy (San Jose, California) captured gold balls in both singles and doubles at the USTA Boys 12s National Championships in Mobile, Alabama.

The top-seeded Reddy beat No. 5 Tabb Tuck (Mountain Brook, Alabama) 6-3, 6-1 in the singles final at the Mobile Tennis Center. He earlier teamed with Akshay Mirmira (Bethesda, Maryland) in doubles, as the third-seeded duo bested No. 6 Griffin Goode and Kahven Singh (both from Raleigh, North Carolina) 6-2, 6-2 in the final.

Reddy’s titles add to an already successful stretch. He won the USTA Boys Winter National Championships in Tucson, Arizona, and was a finalist at the Easter Bowl in Indian Wells, California and the Clay Courts in Orlando, Florida.

“I have been more consistent, throughout the year,” said Reddy. “I pressure my opponents to go for bigger shots when they are not making winners, or when they are not able to stay with me consistently.”
