In spite of numerous rain delays in Tucson, Arizona, two players earned their first Gold Balls at the USTA Boys and Girls 12s Winter National Championships. Top-seeded Tabb Tuck (Mountain Brook, Alabama) won the boys title, while No. 4 Allison Wang (San Jose, California) took home the girls championship at the Reffkin Tennis Center. Tabb defeated seventh-seeded Carter Jauffret (Wilmington, Delaware) 6-1, 6-1, while Wang bested No. 1 Caroline Shao (Boca Raton, Florida) 6-1, 6-2. Girls doubles was captured by top seeds Jordyn Hazelitt (Henderson, Nevada) and Raya Kotseva (Las Vegas, Nevada), 6-4, 6-4 winners over the ninth-seeded duo of Leila Hunter (Keysville, Georgia) and Aria Menon (Cypress, Texas).
