TennisRecruiting.net Server Upgrade
by Dallas Oliver, 21 December 2007
The Tennis Recruiting Network is upgrading both its hardware and networking infrastructure this weekend to accomodate better-than-expected growth. TennisRecruiting.net currently averages almost 200,000 visitors every month - and those visitors are viewing almost 3 million webpages.
Downtime Overnight Tonight
The upgrade is scheduled late tonight and early tomorrow to minimize the service interruption to our users. Saturdays are typically the lowest days for website traffic, and so only the night owls on the West Coast should be affected.
Last Call for Holiday Contest
Our 2007 Holiday Contest ends this weekend, and the service interruption may prevent you from linking to a player profile or purchasing a Recruiting Advantage subscription.
Take a look at our contest - and then enhance your free membership.
Have a great weekend, everyone. Again, the website will go offline late tonight and should be available tomorrow.
