by Ali Jones, 26 March 2008

For five-star recruit Neil Clausen, making the tennis team of Rollins College is more exciting than getting his drivers license.

When he visited the Tars, Clausen loved the team spirit. He felt like he was home.

He knows team members Adrian Tan, Austin Duvall and incoming fellow five-star recruit Jeffrey Morris. He's excited about the program's strength and hopes his class will make it even stronger.

He took to Coach Ron Bohrnstedt almost instantly, finding in his future coach calmness and confidence that will be useful in pressure-filled situations.

Coach Bohrnstedt played for UCLA and the professional circuit, scoring a win over tennis great and Andy Roddick's ex-coach Jimmy Connors in the early '70s.

"What is immediately obvious about Coach Bohrnstedt is that he truly enjoys the team," Neil said. "You can just see that he loves spending time with the guys and coaching them. He truly brings about a great team spirit."
