TennisRecruiting.net Breaks One Thousand Users
by Dallas Oliver, 20 September 2005
When we started our TennisRecruiting.net marketing campaign on September 15, our goal was to gain one thousand members before the end of the month.
So how did we do? Much better than we had hoped, actually. With many marketing emails still to be sent this week, TennisRecruiting.net already has 1,023 members. The penetration throughout the country and among players is widespread. Take a look at the data:
- TennisRecruiting.net has members in 46 of the 50 U.S. states as well as the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico.
- Over half of all TennisRecruiting.net members are players or parents who have updated their player information.
- The top state in terms of membership numbers is California with 139. Texas is running a close second with 138 - but has "led" most of the way! Other states with forty or more members are Georgia (94), Florida (65), North Carolina (63), and New York (40).
- Which schools are most popular? That is a fun question to ask - even though we do not have enough data to provide an interesting answer. But we'll share that with you, nonetheless. At the moment the most popular schools listed by our players are the University of Virginia and Stanford University among boys and girls, respectively.
It has also been a lot of fun for us to look at the dozens and dozens of new photographs that players and parents have been uploading. We look forward to many more!
Promotion Continued
Our original intent was to provide the first thousand users with a one-month trial of our Recruiting Advantage premium service. Since we hit our goal before even sending out all of our promotional emails, we have decided to extend the Recruiting Advantage promotion throughout the month of September. And players and parents who link their account to a player and update their player information will get an additional free month of Recruiting Advantage service.
To our first thousand (well, 1,023, actually) members, thank you very much for your support! To everyone else, take a look around and sign up for a free account at TennisRecruiting.net!
