NCAA Tournament Roundtable - Part I
May Madness might not be a household term, but the name fits for
college tennis. May is tournament time. This weekend, 64 men's and
women's teams will see first- and second-round action in the NCAA
Division I Tennis Championships. The winners head to the Khan Outdoor
Tennis Complex in Champaign-Urbana, Ill., to compete for the team
title. Today, our college tennis contributors talk about college
tennis' Big Dance.

Stewart Takes Boys 16s Title at the Beach
Prior to the United States Tennis Association (USTA) Boys' 16s
National Clay Court Championships, Mitch Stewart had a fairly small
bucket list. He wanted to win a gold ball in a USTA event and he
wanted to play tennis in college. Cross one of those off after the
third-seeded Stewart dispatched 13th-seeded Baker Newman, 6-1; 6-2 at
the Delray Beach International Tennis Center on July 22.
