Winter Nationals Week

While much of the country was on holiday last week, many of the top American junior tennis players were out west in pursuit of national championships.
The USTA National Winter Championships have long been hosted in Arizona. Tucson is the host site for the 12s and 14s, while the 16s and 18s take place in Phoenix. National titles and gold balls were awarded for all eight junior divisions.
This week, the Tennis Recruiting Network features special coverage of all these tournaments with during our presentation of Winter Nationals Week. Every day brings an article celebrating the best in American junior tennis.

USTA National Campus Awarded Decade of NCAA Championships
The USTA National Campus in Orlando will become the home of the NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Tennis Championships for a 10-year period beginning in 2028. The NCAA made the announcement on Monday, and the deal includes facility and broadcast upgrades.

USTA to Utilize Electronic Line Calling at Junior Indoor Nationals
The USTA announced last week that four 2024 USTA Junior National Indoor Championships will utilize PlayReplay electronic line-calling in competition, marking the first time USTA national junior tournaments have formally featured ELC in play.
