TOURNAMENTS
I began playing competitve tennis at the age of 13. Although my late start in year round competitive tennis play, left me at a disadvantage as opposed to my peers with more experienced USTA Junior tournament play-- I caught up very quickly. Currently Iam ranked 91 in the Midwest and 11 in Central Indiana. My highest ranking has been 85 in the Midwest and 5 in Central Indiana.
HIGH SCHOOL
Freshman Year: #2 singles (22 & 4) -- All-county, All-district, All-conference (First Team) Girls highschool sectional champs (team)
Sophomore Year #1 singles (20 & 6)) --All-county, All-district (First Team) -- Girls highschool sectional champ (individual) --- MVP award.
Junior Year #1 singles (20 & 4) -- All-state, All-conference, All-county, All-district (First team) --- Highschool sectional champ (individual) --- Regional champ finailist (individual) --- MVP award --- MIC singles finalist. MIC sportsmanship seminar-- elected as one of the top 15 athletes of charecter in the Lawrence Township for upcoming class of 2008. ---- Featured on the cover of Indianapolis Tennis Magazine (Sping 2007).
ACADEMY
Throughout the year on a daily basis,(excluding some Sundays), and outside of the school tennis season , I play in tournaments around the Midwest area at least 2-3 times per month. My tennis training includes practice match play, conditioning drills , weight training and private instruction from my coach Mark Woldmoe at the Carmel Racquet Club.
