TOURNAMENTS
Melanie had to withdraw after winning her first two matches due to cramping in the semi final Girls 18 singles this weekend 1-8-2012.

Melanie wins the Texoma Girls 18 singles USTA sanctioned tournament this past weekend 12-16-2011 defeating three Texas players. The earlier December Texas Super Champs tournament was rained out.

Melanie ages up in August and can not play in Girls' 16 National tournament and has no national points now and has to start from zero points before qualifying for any national tournaments in 2012.

HIGH SCHOOL
11-6-2011, Melanie remains undefeated in her senior year singles and doubles as Highland Park high school wins their fourth straight State championship. Her last match against Ryan Brown 6-1 and 6-2 topped off her 4 years of varsity competition.

Melanie stays undefeated helping lead her high school tennis team to their quest for four years as Texas state champions. Now the Texas northeast regional high school champions, they play at College Station next weekend 11-4-2011. This could be her fourth Texas state varsity championship.

Melanie remains undefeated in her senior year wnning line 1 doubles against Mackenna Maddox and then beating in singles Molly Matricardi 6-3 and 6-2. She led her high school team beating this McKinney Boyd Texas 5A high school ranked 3rd in Texas. Chair umpires presided on the courts today 9-23-2011.

Melanie remains undefeated in singles and doubles playing only high school team tennis this Fall season wnning again against McKinney North High school in singles and line 1 doubles with Sarah Cannon 9-27-2011.

Melanie was undefeated this weekend 8-19-11 playing line 1 and 2 in singles and line 1 in doubles at this weekend's high school Invitational tournament. 5A and 4A high school teams from around Texas competed in this yearly tournament. The Highland Park high school team boys and girls won the championship this year 2011.

Melanie won both line 1 singles and doubles today 8-26-2011 against South Lake 5 A high school including winning 6-1 and 6-2 in her singles match against Brittaney McCasin .

Member of the Hghland Park Texas state championship teams 2008 and 2009 and 2010 and undefeated in high school singles and doubles freshman year.

Now in her Junior year, she is undefeated in high school doubles Fall 2010 and one singles loss to one of her best friends, Brittany in singles. Melanie was the North Texas regional champion in 4A girls doubles Spring 2011 and Texas high school state finalist in girls doubles!

In her sophmore year, Spring 2010, she won singles titles as the district singles champion and North East Texas Regional singles champion. At the Texas state championship tournament, she won until losing in the singles semi finals to the eventual state champion.
