HIGH SCHOOL
2009 High School Tennis Season:
2009 Ohio Conference Championship (OCC) Ohio Tournament 1st Doubles Champions!

2009 Off Season Goals:
My goals for the off season are to continue to take tennis lessons from my tennis pro Andy Sinclair; continue to work-out; play in USTA Singles matches: raise my USTA ranking as a Doubles player (because I did not do that last year); and continue to remain on the Honor Roll and prepare for my ACT test.

2008: On October 16, 2008, I was awarded the team MVP award. My final high school season record is 17 wins and 4 losses. Placed 2nd in the Ohio Conference Championship Tournament in 1st Doubles on Saturday, September 27, 2008. During the season I also played 3rd singles and won on that court. I played all matches during the season and individually led my team with the most wins during our season this year.

2007: Placed 3rd in doubles in the OCC Championship HS Tournament as a Sophomore. Helped my team to third place in the OCC. Decided to focus on one sport after completing the basketball season at our high school. This was the first year I have played in USTA tournaments at this level and I am currently trying to work on developing my game in hopes of playing at a college level. I am a recipient of the "Rising Star" award from my HS coach Somogyi.

I really enjoy and prefer to play doubles during the high school season because during the off season I play USTA singles matches against top year around players. I want colleges and universities to know that I am a diverse player that can play tennis either on a singles or doubles court. I love to play the net and I am consistent at the baseline.

High School Academic Accomplishments:
Honor Roll Student for 3 years.

Other Accomplishments:
I was recently accepted into the STEM and Foreign Language Academy program that is hosted by Shawnee State University this Summer. I am taking five semester hours of General Chemistry. (http://www.shawnee.edu/off/uos/STEM/stem.html)
