My name is Tyler Koran and I just graduated from Salinas High School in Salinas, California.

I live in Salinas and compete in tournaments in the Northern California section. Also, I was the 1 varsity singles player on my high school team. I competed on the varsity team for all four past seasons, winning two most valuable doubles awards and a coaches award. In addition, I was the team captain of the team that won the Monterey Bay League and competed in the Central Coast Section tournament. I believe that I would be a strong player, teammate, and leader on your roster.

Also, I am a hard worker; I train 6 days a week with the intent of strengthening my game. My greatest desire is to become the best tennis player that I can be, and I hope to play tennis at a school that challenges me both academically and athletically to help me reach my potential; I want to be challenged and grow tremendously in my game.

Academically, I intend to pursue a degree in mathematics and earn a teaching credential. In my high school, I was ranked in the top 25 in my class of nearly 600 students. My weighted grade point average Was 4.47. I scored 1450 out of 1600 on the SAT (My math score is 780 out of 800). I have challenged myself by taking math and science-related Advanced Placement (AP) courses in areas such as computer science, physics and calculus BC.

Above other things, I am a hard worker, a good listener, and a persistent learner. I want to learn from you as a coach and improve my game. I hope to hear from you soon!

Thank you for your time and thoughtful consideration,

Tyler Koran
